Coming from farms located in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul), it undergoes an innovative tanning process where no chrome, heavy metals or dangerous acids are involved. ChromeFree leather is used on the entire leather Kids collection.The suede is made from the underside of bovine leather previously brushed to make it softer and more flexible. The bovine ChromeFree leather is smooth and light. After tanning, the water is recyclable. It is tanned in Brazil, respecting the REACH norms. The suede is also coated with water-repellent oils without PFCs (chemical compounds) to protect the sneakers from light rain. It comes from farms in the south of Brazil (Rio Grande do Sul). Special attention is paid to water usage during the tanning process. By simplifying the tanning process, the use of chemicals and energy is limited, the use of water is reduced by about 40% and the use of salt by 80%.
